Pastors desks and inboxes are often littered with new initiatives and new resources and most of them will appeal to our desire to see the church grow and will therefore tempt us.
At the same time there may be a gnawing uncertainty about that new strategy or technology. It’s that inner discomfort that we too often suppress that I want to address. We are called to be forward looking, but we also are called to be wise.
Since these thoughts first aired in March of 2022, AI has joined the fray, making our search for wisdom even more urgent.
